Mountain View and IHG Hotels & Resorts Sign Agreement to Launch “The Residences” at Hotel Indigo Mountain View Ras El Hekma
Mountain View and IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hospitality companies, announced the signing of an agreement to launch The Residences at Hotel Indigo Mountain View Ras El Hekma, the world’s first Hotel Indigo-branded residential project, alongside laying the foundation for the first Hotel Indigo in Egypt, both within Mountain View Ras El Hekma. The collaboration brings together Mountain View’s expertise in destination development with IHG’s global hospitality capabilities to introduce an integrated proposition that responds to evolving customer aspirations while enhancing product quality, hospitality standards and value to homeowners. “The Residences” will offer a hotel-style hospitality concept that brings the standards, services and experiences associated with international hospitality into everyday residential living. By seamlessly integrating residential living with hospitality services, the project is designed to create a distinctive, fully integrated community that extends beyond the traditional seasonal residential model and reinforces Mountain View Ras El Hekma’s positioning as a year-round destination.
The signing ceremony was attended by Haitham Mattar, Managing Director, India, Middle East & Africa at IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Joanna Kurowska, Vice President, Middle East & Africa development at IHG Hotels & Resorts. Representing Mountain View were Eng. Amr Soliman, Founder and Executive Chairman; Eng. Wael Lotfy and Eng. Wael Ezz, Co-CEOs; and Eng. Ahmed El Morsy, Chief Portfolio Officer.

Designed as a separate island within Mountain View Ras El Hekma, the project brings together privacy, hospitality and connectivity to create a calm and balanced lifestyle inspired by the identity and local culture of Ras El Hekma, under the Hotel Indigo brand. The development features a private beach and private lagoons, while providing access to the full range of Beach Town facilities and experiences within Mountain View Ras El Hekma, including The Lighthouse, The Piazza and key facilities. Internal mobility services will further facilitate movement across the community and enhance connectivity between its different experiences and destinations.
The project's location in the heart of Ras El Hekma, one of Egypt's fastest-growing coastal destinations, further enhances its appeal, particularly as opportunities for direct seafront ownership become increasingly limited. Combined with growing demand for internationally branded residences and the distinctive hospitality experience associated with Hotel Indigo, this rarity positions the project as one of the destination's remaining opportunities to own a unique seafront home.
